ATTORNEY
Jill E. Grucan, Esq., is Board Certified by the Florida Bar as a Specialist in Immigration and Nationality law, and has nearly 20 years’ experience representing clients in the U.S. immigration context. She graduated magna cum laude from the University Of Miami School Of Law in the top 10% of her class. She is highly dedicated to assisting individuals, families, and businesses with all their immigration needs. She is active in her community and is devoted to public & community service.
Jill is one of only a handful of attorneys in the state of Florida who is Board Certified by the Florida Bar as an expert in Immigration Law. She has nearly 20 years’ experience representing individuals, businesses, and investors in the U.S. immigration context. She is fluent in Spanish and is admitted to the Florida Bar, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Jill was born in Massachusetts and graduated Salutatorian of her class from Cushing Academy. She was awarded her Bachelor’s degree in English Literature with Honors, magna cum laude from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She studied abroad at Oxford University in England, and at the University of Costa Rica, where she lived for over a year learning Spanish.
Jill earned her Juris Doctorate (law degree) from the University of Miami School of Law, graduating with Honors, magna cum laude, in the top 10% of her class.
She won the Cali Award for Asylum and Visa Law, as well as awards in Citizenship & Society, Community Service Law, and Immigration Law. She was granted a HOPE fellowship at the Florida Immigrant Advocacy Center (FIAC), a non-profit agency devoted to helping battered women in need of immigration assistance. She went on to work at Montiel Davis & Fonte as well as Rodney & Bernstein, two firms where she was able to make a significant impact on a variety of immigration-related cases. After years of honing her skills at other firms, Jill founded Grucan Immigration Law where she has been continuing her crusade for justice ever since.
Jill is active in her community, devoted to public service, and highly dedicated to assisting individuals, families, and businesses with all their immigration needs.
In her free time, she enjoys exercising, reading, travelling, and spending quality time with her daughter and husband.
